Township Medlov (german idol) is located in the district Brno-Country, South Moravia. From 10 October 2006 the village was returned to the status of the township. Church of St. Bartholomew, St. John of Nepomuk statue in the square, the pillar with the sculpture of the Holy Trinity in the village. The village is part of the natural park Niva Jihlava
